…And if the historical group is the center of the show, the surprise of this ninth edition of the "Middle Ages in Festivity" has blond hair,

an American accent, and music in her blood. This exceptional shining star outshone the night sky of Saint Lorenzo, this new member

of the family of Roccantica: American flutist Rhonda Larson, winner of a Grammy Award, the "Oscar" of the music world.

It is acknowledged and recognized worldwide as the highest award to which every musician aspires.

But before she was to conquer them with music, Rhonda enchanted the people of Roccantica with her smile, her openness, and her

love for the Sabina region in which this year she and her husband have bought a home. From the international stages to the stairway

of the Ancient Tower (i.e. Roccantica), Larson wore a simple, blue medieval dress, first performing with Carlo and Claudio Bernabei

and then performing two solo pieces, enrapturing the audience…

E se loro sono il centro della manifestazione, la sorpresa di questa nona edizione del “Medioevo in Festa” ha I capelli biondi,

l’accento americano e la musica nel sangue. Stella d’eccezione, che ha fatto impallidire il cielo della notte di San Lorenzo, è la nuova

entrata nella famiglia di Roccantica: la flautisa Rhonda Larson, americana, vincitrice di un Grammy Award, il “premio Oscar” della

musica in tutto il mondo. Il traguardo massimo a cui aspira ogni musicista, che l’ha resa nota in tutto il mondo. Ma prima ancora

di conquistarla con la musica, Rhonda ha incantato la gente di Roccantica con il sorriso, la dispondibilità e il suo amore per la Sabina

nella quale quest’anno ha comprato una casa insieme con il marito. Dai palchi internazionali alla scalinata ai piedi della Rocca de

Antiquo, la Larson ha indossato un semplice abito medievale blu e, prima insieme con Carlo e Claudio Bernabei e poi in assolo, ha

eseguito due brani davanti ad un pubblico estasiato…
